Magenta Line, also known as Line 8, is a rapid transit line that connects Delhi, Gurgaon, and Noida in India’s National Capital Region. With 25 stations and a length of 38.235 Km (23.758 mi), it is the longest elevated railway line in the world. The Magenta Line was inaugurated on 25 December 2017 by the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and is operated by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

A number of important business and residential areas in both Delhi and Noida are served by the Magenta Line, including Janakpuri, Kalkaji, Okhla, and Botanical Garden. The route begins in Janakpuri West, West Delhi, and ends at Botanical Garden, Noida.
