Violet Line Delhi Metro

The Violet Line is the sixth largest rapid transit line in the Delhi Metro. Line 6 of the New Delhi Metro has a total length of 46.34 km (28.79 miles) and starts from Kashmere Gate station in New Delhi to Raja Nahar Singh in Ballabhgarh in Faridabad. It consists of 34 stations in the metro service and a maximum speed of 80 km/h.

While traveling on its route, the Violet Line passes through four interchange stations, which include the Red and Yellow Lines at Kashmere Gate metro station, the Blue Line at Mandi House metro station, the Yellow Line at Central Secretariat metro station, the Pink Line at Lajpat Nagar metro station, and the Magenta Line at Kalkaji metro station.

The line connects the interior parts of South Delhi, some areas of Central Delhi, and the satellite town of Faridabad, making it an additional alternative for commuters who travel along the heavily used Yellow Line. Heritage Line is the segment between the ITO metro station and Kashmere Gate metro station.
